According to Wikipedia,

the “Internet church is a gathering of religious believers facilitated through the use of online video stream, audio stream and/or written messages whose primary purpose is to allow the meeting of a church body of parishioners using the Internet.”

By this definition, the coronavirus outbreak’s fall-out has inadvertently transformed a large number of traditional churches into digital churches. Another outcome is that we now have churches without walls. Meaning, churches are now springing up and drawing global followership without dealing with the conventional model of acquiring physical structures, equipment, and massive overheads. Even when things return to normal, the technological aspect of service delivery will remain.

Before the global pandemic, some Christian adherents still struggled with the thought of worshippers congregating in cyberspace. However, this strong stance has changed as Covid-19 threw up the uncomfortable choice of adapting to church technology or suspending church activities indefinitely. The former was the more obvious choice for most. Even those who were already operating in this space had to ramp up their offerings to meet members’ spiritual needs as a result of the lockdown.

On average, most established churches have about eight core ministries, departments or units that help the church operate optimally. The more common ones are evangelism, children’s church, accounting, administration, welfare, prayer, media, and music. In the traditional sense, managing these numerous units requires quite a bit of human and financial resources. Thanks to innovation, this weight has been made lighter with the development of powerful tools that better manage these units. Interestingly, most of these tools can be utilized by church staff or volunteers who can work remotely.

So, what is this “Power Tool”?

It is called Church Management Software (ChMS). They are built primarily to help church leaders administer their organizations more effectively using the latest and safest cutting-edge technology. They house a bunch of digital products designed to attend to various units within the church. In effect, they help in the seamless running and growth of the church. While there are a few options out there, not many are as robust as ChurchPad that provides a vast array of options while considering the budgetary reality of various church sizes.

It highlights one of its competitive advantages thus; “it is the only church management software that provides a fully integrated Unified Communication platform with multiple messaging options that can be sent in real-time or scheduled for future delivery.” Beyond this, it offers products within the software that knit together the various departments in one dashboard. These products include: People, Community, Generosity, Children, Evangelism, Fellowship, The Word and Support.

ChurchPad also has the added advantage of producing reports that help you gauge the health of the church. The church is primarily about the people and the software makes special provision for them. The “People” product helps you “manage church member profiles and keep track of important information. You can also maintain relationships with guests and convert visitors into members when they join your church.” These and more are what make this tool powerful.

So, if you are setting out as a church or existing, but looking to grow and take your church to the next level, ChurchPad is a capable and purpose-driven partner.
